Governance for Cultural & Creative Ecosystems - Leading for Ecosystem-based Training & Education

Insights from our second CCSI Ecosystem Event

We want to thank all our participants and partners who joined our second CCSI Ecosystem Event that took place in Herning on 30 September and 01 October 2024. Hosted by VIA Design and Business and the textile ecosystem in Herning, the event brought together key partners including DIGTCOM Aarhus University, VIA University College, the City of Aarhus, Region Central Denmark, and Stuer City of Sound.

The first day of the event featured engaging discussions and panels on two key topics: Governing for CCSI Ecosystems and Ecosystem-based Skills, Training, and Education for CCSI. These sessions provided valuable insights into the governance and educational frameworks essential for nurturing cultural and creative ecosystems. Furthermore, EIT Culture & Creativity Colocation Centre North new director, Kati Uusi-Rauva, presented the Co-location Centre North and joined the roundtable CCSI Flexible Education, Entrepreneurship Programmes, and Training for Life.

On the second day, the event continued with site visits at VIA University College, Sustainable Herning Incubator, and Herning Textile Museum - allowing participants to explore real-world applications. These activities were designed to provide practical insights and a deeper understanding of the creative and cultural ecosystems at work, particularly within the innovative textile sector.

The event marked an important step in advancing the understanding and development of cultural and creative ecosystems.
