The workshop is organised in collaboration with Struer Municipality (City of Sound), Sound Hub Denmark, Sound Art Lab, Struer Museum & SOKU, the Education Initiative Struer, and Bang & Olufsen, celebrating its centenary in 2025. Together, these partners highlight the city’s growing role as an international hub for sound innovation, art, and heritage.

Over two days, participants will experience the following:

🎶 Visit to the Sound Art Lab, with its international residency and 89soundart MFA programme.
🚶 Guided city walk featuring sound art in public space.
📚 Tour of the Struer Museum & SOKU, dedicated to listening cultures and sonic heritage.
🎧 Exclusive insights into Bang & Olufsen, tracing a century of sound design and technology.
🌍 Site visit at Sound Hub Denmark, the global accelerator for sound-based innovation.

Alongside presentations and site visits, there will be communal dining, informal exchanges, and opportunities for collaboration across disciplines.
