Meet Our New Student Assistant

Kalle Kusk Gjetting just joined our team as the new student assistant at the Centre for Digital Transformation in Cities and Communities

Hi! I'm Kalle Kusk the new student assistant here at DITCOM. I join the center after having been loosely knit since last summer on a volunteer basis and am now eager to get started on concrete tasks. Initially, I will primarily be working on the SCORE project, but will also be helping out with practical tasks such as webdesign and communication on a weekly basis.

I am Master's Student in Information Studies at Aarhus University where I have obtained programming experience as well as a nuanced understanding of the relationship between science, technology and society. Further, I am passionate about developing sustainable (in a very broad sense) digital cities and communities. Following this, I wrote my BA-thesis (under the supervision of Martin) on the topic of interactive communication of datasets on global world health in the library space. As such, the work at DITCOM ties into both my experiences and interests.

On a personal level, I am happily situated within a few minutes walking from the DLRC and spend most of my weekdays around the University engaging myself in various activities (including the QTCs [Link to DLRC Facebook page] which you should totally join). I enjoy spending my weekends with friends tackling new board games and beer brands; recently found a passion in the game petanque. Challenge me!
