Governance for Cultural and Creative Ecosystems

Call for papers, cases, essays, visual or audio work, and perspectives

Cultural and Creative Ecosystems can push sustainable transformation. Embracing small and bigger players from various sectors, it is the place where culture, crafts, creativity, narratives, policy, data, and technology can merge into new intriguing imaginaries and actions as responses to the wicked problems of our times. Cultural and creative ecosystems, as other ecosystems, are fluid and build on interdependencies, personal relationships, a sense of place and belonging, shared passion, and a common interest in realising imaginaries and hopes that are interconnected. Weak ties, connections to other ecosystems, regionally or internationally, bring new ideas and strengthen local collaborations.

We invite work: written, visual and audio, or combinations, where we address how we take care of cultural and creative ecosystems, and where personal relationships, trust, and generosity seem more important than mandates, financial flows, institutionalized forms of governance, and economic output.

Formats may vary, but we ask for shorter pieces in English.
