Dhriti Dhaundiyal is visiting AU-DIGTCOM as a guest researcher

Dhriti Dhaundiyal is visiting AU-DIGTCOM as a guest researcher following her participation in the 2025 Phd Seminar on Participatory Design: Contemporary Agendas. Dhriti is a design researcher working at the intersection of material culture, mobility, and participatory practices. Trained in Industrial Design at the National Institute of Design, India, she later studied Urban Sustainability at King’s College London as a Chevening Scholar and completed her PhD in Industrial Design at IIT Bombay. She has previously worked as an automobile designer in India and Japan for Suzuki.

Her current research explores participatory methods for inclusive public transport, gendered practices in the craft sector, and design-led STEM learning for early education. She is working as Assistant Professor in Doon University, India. At AU-DIGTCOM, she is particularly interested in how digital and material infrastructures shape everyday participation and social futures.
